- The Premier League club will pay £15 million for the Czech midfielder. and 10 per cent of this fee is owed to FC Slovan Havlickuv Brod, a fourth-tier side when Soucek made his first steps in the game.
- The £1.5m compensation will cover the minnows' budget for the next ten years, as confirmed to Czech media outlet VIP Sport by the club's chairman Pavel Mazanek.
