Paris clubs and Arab investors love story continues as Paris FC and Kingdom of Bahrain enter partnership

We all know what has happened since Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, basically became PSG's owner through a state-owned shareholding organization back in 2011.

  • Paris Football Club have announced the Kingdom of Bahrain as the club's new shareholders.
  • The country's sovereign fund owns 20 per cent of the Ligue 2 outfit from now on.
  • PFC's current chairman Pierre Ferracci remains the majority owner at 77 per cent.
  • The Bahraini fund also becomes the main sponsor of the club.
  • Paris FC are expecting their budget to increase by 30 per cent, and they are aiming to earn a Ligue 1 promotion in three years.
  • The club finished the 2019/20 Ligue 2 campaign in 17th.
