'He didn't even look at me'. Atalanta star gives a heartbreaking interview after CR7 refused to swap shirts with him

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest players in football's history, no two ways about it - but as it turned out, he can be a proper d**k to fellow colleagues too.

Atalanta's Robin Gosens can confirm as much, revealing Ron once turned down his simple shirt swap request after a game.

"After the game against Juventus, I tried to fulfil my dream of having a Ronaldo jersey.

"After the final whistle I went to him, having not even gone public to celebrate but Ronaldo did not accept. I asked: 'Cristiano, can I have your shirt?'

"He didn't even look at me, he just said: 'No!'"

"I was completely blushed and ashamed. I went away and felt small.

"You know that moment when something embarrassing happens and you look around to see if anyone noticed it? That's what I felt and tried to hide it."

To be fair, we are not really surprised. Ronaldo comes across as arrogant and self-centered all too often - and we are pretty sure he's a sore loser too. We can easily imagine him sulking after a draw or a defeat.

'You can't say it'. Entire Valencia team walks off the pitch during game after racial abuse

Valencia's La Liga game against Cadiz was temporarily stopped as Valencia players walked off the pitch in protest after the alleged racist abuse of one of their players.

The incident occurred just before the half-hour mark - defender Mouctar Diakhaby was allegedly racially abused by Cadiz's Juan Cala.

Valencia’s captain José Luis Gayà led the team out of the field after conversations with the referee. However, the team returned to complete the game after 20 minutes as they were informed they would have to forfeit the points if they did not return.

Diakhaby collided with Cala and was visibly angry after a verbal exchange. The defender's teammates Gabriel Paulista and Kevin Gameiro tried to calm him down and pull him away.

Cameras caught Paulista saying: “You can’t say Negro de mierda,”, suggesting Cala had said words meaning “shitty black”.

The club's official Twitter page tweeted a defiant 'No To Racism' and confirmed the players would return "in order to fight for the honour of the club, but denounce racism of any kind".

The club's account later on tweeted again:

The game eventually ended 2-1 in Cadiz's favour - Diakhaby chose not to return to the field with his teammates after the incident.

6 superstars who might play in Europa League next season if their teams don't improve

It's officially the final part of the 2020/21 season! In some of the top five European leagues, there's effectively no more title race, but the places in the Champions League are yet to be decided.

Some big but underperforming teams have every chance to miss out on the top European competition. It might result in some of the biggest stars of the continent playing in the Europa League next season. Here are just some of the players who could find themselves playing on Thursday nights.

Borussia Dortmund are already 7 points adrift from the top four after they were beaten by the fourth-placed Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 last weekend. If they finish fifth, both of their young stars will most likely try to join a bigger club in the summer, but few of those could afford such expenses.

Juventus are fourth in the Serie A table, but Napoli have the same number of points. With 10 games to go, the fourth place is up for grabs but one thing it's clear: it's not how Ronaldo envisaged his spell in Turin.

Liverpool are seemingly out of their slump but right now, they are sixth in the Premier League table, just 2 points behind Chelsea in fourth. The race is likely to go down to the wire: there are at least 5 contenders for the final Champions League spot at the moment.

Kante's Chelsea are the team that currently occupies the fourth spot in the Premier League. The Blues were on a 10-game unbeaten run before suffering a shock 5-2 defeat to West Bromwich. Now, West Ham could leapfrog them if the Hammers win their game on Monday night.

Tottenham, the 2019 Champions League finalists, are set for their second season in the less important competition. One of the main strikers of this generation, Kane won't be happy to spend his prime years in the Europa League, so it might be one to watch.
