Brazil star Kerlon: 'Balotelli is a nice guy. But he arrived at training and peed on all players boots'

Mario Balotelli has a reputation of being on the most erratic players in modern football and the Italian's former teammates have stories to back those claims.

Brazilian midfielder Kerlon, who played alongside Balotelli at Inter Milan, once told ESPN Brazil: "Balotelli is a very nice guy and an extraordinary person, but he did some unbelievable things off the pitch.

"He had a habit of arriving at training before anyone else and peeing on all the players' boots... it was very funny. I've never seen a kid of 18 years do it, and to not feel sorry for any of it, even to Julio Cesar and Maicon."

Balotelli left Inter in 2010 and went on to play for Manchester City, AC Milan, Liverpool, Nice, Marseille and Brescia. The 30-year-old is currently turning out for Serie B side Monza.

Leo Messi's current deal with Barcelona expires in the summer. However, after the arrival of Barca's new president Joan Laporta, it is now expected that the 33-year-old will extend his Blaugrana deal.
