When you're one of the most successful athletes of all time, you're bound to have a few haters - and Cristiano Ronaldo definitely is not a fan favourite of some of these players.

Gerard Pique

Gerard Pique and Cristiano Ronaldo have grown to dislike each other thanks to the El Clasico rivalry.

Pique has trolled the Real Madrid star by imitating his "calma" celebration he and Ronaldo responded in kind: "Even when others are celebrating, they remember Cristiano Ronaldo,” the Portuguese superstar was quoted by 101GreatGoals.com. “Whether it’s good or not, let them talk about Cris."

Koke

Atletico Madrid midfielder, Koke, made derogatory remarks about the Portugal superstar after Real Madrid's 3-0 derby win on November 19th, 2016.

Tempers flared when the two players got involved in a heated exchange in the second half, where both stars clashed heads. And, according to Cadena Cope, Koke stirred everything when he called the Bernabeu icon a "f****t."

Ronaldo allegedly then replied: “A f****t, yes. But a rich one, b******.”

Clearly, Koke is not a fan of Ronaldo, who has cost Atletico 2 Champions League titles!

Alejandro Moreno

The retired Venezuelan footballer and current ESPNFC analyst, Alejandro Moreno, is known for bashing Cristiano Ronaldo every chance he gets.

Moreno once infamously said: "Ronaldo is not good enough for big games." A ridiculous claim, considering Ronaldo has scored in multiple cup finals across his glorious career!

Pep Guardiola

Barcelona beat Real Madrid 5-0 back when Guardiola was in charge of the manager.

When Madrid were down 2-0 at the time, frustrations were setting in. As Ronaldo went to get the ball for the throw-in, Guardiola kept it away from him with his right hand and flicked it down the sideline. The Portuguese star then gave Guardiola a small shove as he went for the ball.

The current Manchester City manager also blatantly ignored Ronaldo's handshake at the 2013 Ballon d'Or ceremony. No love lost between the two!

Xavi

Xavi once said that Ronaldo does not possess Messi's footballing intelligence. The midfielder tried to backtrack later by saying that his words were lost in transition, but it's not hard to believe that the Barcelona midfielder does not like the man who tormented his club on multiple occasions.

Sepp Blatter

Blatter once said: "Messi is a good boy that every father and mother would like to have at home. Really, he is a good man, he is very fast and he is not exuberant, he is playing well, he is dancing, he is a kind man, really good.

"The other one [Ronaldo] is like a commander on the field of play… yeah, that's it. One has more expenses for the hairdresser than the other, but that does not matter. I cannot say who is the best. The [Ballon D'Or] list will be published, and then the public will make their choice. I like both of them, but I prefer Messi."

Some weird quotes, these. We all have our preferences, but surely there's better ways to say you prefer Messi!

Lionel Messi

The two best footballers of this generation (perhaps of all-time) do not really see eye to eye.

Football writer Guillem Balague revealed that Ronaldo signifies Messi as a "motherf*****" behind his back, and any Madrid players who acknowledge Messi is a motherf*****.

Of course, Ronaldo denied the allegations stating: "I have the utmost respect for all my professional colleagues and Messi is obviously no exception." But we're not really sure he meant it - Messi must not have taken kindly to this either, as he barely speaks about Ronaldo despite the two dominating the game for over a decade.

Reporter asks Erling Haaland about his goal drought, interview instantly goes viral

Erling Haaland has ended his seven-game goal drought in all competitions as he scored a brace against Werder Bremen in a 4-1 win to keep Borussia Dortmund's top-four hopes alive.

But it wasn't only his brace that grabbed everyone's attention. The 20-year-old is a pretty straightforward guy when it comes to commenting on things as it turned out.

When Haaland was asked about his goal protracted drought in the post-match interview, his reply caught the broadcaster by surprise as he used foul language to express his feelings: "Yeah, it's, of course, sh*t..."

By the way, Haaland scored another goal in this game but it was disallowed as he was in an offside position.
