Alisson’s first interview after scoring unbelievable last-minute winning goal for Liverpool

“I played [football] since I remember as a human being with my father. I hope he was here to see it, but I am sure...he is celebrating,” Alisson told Sky Sports after his historic game-winner against West Brom in the 95th minute of the match.

"It's for my family, for the boys. Sometimes you're fighting and things are not happening just like this afternoon. I'm really, really happy to help them. We fight a lot together.

"We have a goal to achieve the Champions League because we won it once and everything starts with the qualification."

You can listen to the full interview below - it's quite an emotional one from the former Roma man, who became the first Liverpool goalkeeper to ever score in a competitive game.

In February Alisson's father died after drowning in Brazil at the age of 57.

Alisson is the first and only goalkeeper to score a Premier League this season.

Alisson's brilliant header gives Jurgen Klopp's team a massive boost in the race for Champions League qualification next season.
