Despite that, the 22-year-old spent 90 minutes on the pitch during the World Cup qualifier. In the end, though, he was subbed off.
It's not clear yet whether the issue will rule Mbappe out for long.
The PSG forward will undergo a scan on Thursday to determine the extent of the injury.
