Chile midfielder Arturo Vidal was not pleased to see his side go down to a 0-1 loss to Brazil in their FIFA World Cup qualifier on Thursday.
That caused Everton forward Richarlison, who couldn’t play in the game after being barred from traveling to South America, to have some fun at Vidal’s expense.
Richarlison posted a picture on his Instagram story quoting Vidal’s comments made to Brazilian manager Tite after losing to Brazil in the Copa America back in July, when he wrote: ‘The two-time champions put you on your knee. See you in Chile without any help.’
The Inter Milan midfielder was clearly rattled by this and responded by posting a picture of Richarlison with a clown emoji covering his face.
Richarlison ignited this little banter even further by posting a picture where he pretty much called Vidal triggered by his comments.
