Nottingham Forest sweep Premier League October awards
Nottingham Forest coach Nuno Espírito Santo and striker Chris Wood have made history, sweeping the Premier League's October awards.
Nuno Espírito Santo won the Manager of the Month award, marking his fifth such honour in his career, while Wood claimed the Player of the Month award.
Wood's achievement is particularly notable, as he becomes: the first Nottingham Forest player to win the award. He is also the first New Zealander to receive the honour.
The striker impressed with four goals in three appearances, topping the league's scoring chart for October.
Wood edged out seven other contenders, including Facundo Buonanotte, Joško Gvardiol, Bryan Mbeumo, Cole Palmer, Bukayo Saka, teammate Matz Sels, and Danny Welbeck.
