"The Saudi 2034 [World Cup] bid is inspiring so many young footballers with the promise of #GrowingTogether and it was a pleasure to meet some of those kids who are dreaming of welcoming the world to Saudi Arabia in 2034. 🏆" Cristiano Ronaldo has tweeted.

Earlier, it was reported that the Portuguese could be the 2034 World Cup ambassador if it was held in Saudi Arabia.

The country is likely to be announced as the host nation soon. There is also a chance that it will be held in winter due to extremely hot summer temperatures, almost like the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Cristiano Ronaldo currently plays for Al Nassr. His current deal with the Saudi Arabian club expires in July 2025.
