Juventus confirm loan signing of Randal Kolo Muani from PSG
Juventus head coach Thiago Motta has confirmed that the club has agreed to sign Randal Kolo Muani on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.
The 25-year-old France international was deemed surplus to requirements at PSG and was told to find a new club during the January transfer window.
Kolo Muani had attracted interest from several top clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, but ultimately chose to join Juventus.
The Frenchman has agreed to personal terms with the Serie A outfit and will complete his move once the formal documents are finalized.
Motta expressed his delight at the signing, saying, "Kolo Muani will be a new Juventus player, it is all good.
We are waiting for the formal documents and then he will be ready to play. I am so happy."
Notably, the loan deal does not include a purchase clause, which means that Kolo Muani will return to PSG in the summer.
This raises questions about his long-term future at the Parc des Princes, which will likely continue to be a topic of discussion in the coming months.
