West Ham in talks to sign Lorient's Kroupi for €40m - reports
1 February, 16:44
Sky Sports reports West Ham are in discussions with Lorient over the potential signing of forward Eli Junior Kroupi, with the fee reportedly set at €40m.
The 18-year-old, who scored his 10th goal of the season in Lorient's 2-1 win over Red Star, has attracted interest from several clubs.
Kroupi netted the opening goal in Paris, where scouts from various teams were present to watch him.
Kroupi is among the striking options West Ham are considering, with the club also still keen on Brighton’s Evan Ferguson.
