Pablo Torre was expected to attract interest in the winter transfer window. Porto tried to sign him on deadline day as a replacement for Nico Gonzalez, but he decided to stay at Barcelona, hoping for more chances under Hansi Flick.

According to SPORT, Torre's situation has not changed. Against Valencia, with Barcelona leading 5-0, Flick used all five substitutions, but Torre was not among them. Inigo Martinez, Gerard Martin, Marc Casado, Dani Olmo, and Hector Fort all came on instead.

Torre last played against Valencia in La Liga, featuring for 12 minutes. He only got that chance because Gavi gave up his turn and asked for Torre to play.

The midfielder's contract runs until 2026, but this summer could be key for his future. If he remains on the fringes, he may need to consider a move.
