Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk is excited to lead his team at Wembley after their 4-0 win over Tottenham secured a place in the EFL Cup final.
Goals from Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Van Dijk overturned a 1-0 first-leg deficit, setting up a final against Newcastle on March 16.
"I'm always proud to lead the boys," Van Dijk told ITV. "These occasions are special, and we're really looking forward to it."
He also praised Gakpo's form, calling it vital for the team, and highlighted Conor Bradley's assist for Szoboszlai. "Everyone has to contribute, and we scored some important goals," he added.
