Joshua Kimmich, whose contract expires on 30 June 2025, has been linked with Real Madrid. Reports from Germany suggest there has been contact between the 29-year-old and Madrid over a potential move.
Bayern Munich have tried to extend his deal, but Kimmich has not made a decision. The club had hoped for clarity by January, but the situation remains unresolved.
Bayern director Max Eberl addressed the matter, saying, "Of course, we know we cannot wait forever, but we want to give Joshua some time and allow him to fully consider whether Bayern is the club he wants to continue with." as quoted by Mundo Deportivo.
Eberl added, "I do not want to have to convince a player to sign a contract; I want him to do so with full conviction."
