Chelsea eyeing Liverpool goalkeeper Kelleher as summer transfer target
Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher in the summer transfer window, according to TBR Football.
The Blues have been struggling with goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, who has made five errors leading to goals in the Premier League this season.
As a result, Chelsea are on the lookout for an upgrade in goal, and Kelleher is seen as a top target.
The 26-year-old Irishman is widely expected to leave Anfield at the end of the season, with Liverpool ready to sanction a sale.
Kelleher is considered one of the best number two goalkeepers in the world but is unlikely to displace Alisson as the Reds' number one.
Chelsea face competition for Kelleher's signature, however, with Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth, and Newcastle also reportedly interested in the goalkeeper.
