Enzo Maresca hints at Chelsea summer overhaul
Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca has suggested that the club may make significant changes to its squad in the summer transfer window.
Speaking about the team's transfer plans, Maresca indicated that the next few months will be crucial in assessing the team's needs.
"From now to the summer, we have still four, five months," Maresca said.
"For sure, in the summer, we will see if we need something different, not only in terms of striker but in general."
Chelsea had a relatively quiet January transfer window, with midfielder Mathis Amougou being the only new signing.
The club also recalled Trevoh Chalobah and Aaron Anselmino from their loan spells.
In terms of outgoings, Cesare Casadei left the club on a permanent deal, while several players, including Joao Felix, Carney Chukwuemeka, and Ben Chilwell, were loaned out.
