'Age is never a barrier in football': Bacary Sagna praises Lewis-Skelly
Bacary Sagna has praised Myles Lewis-Skelly for his performances in the Arsenal first team and believes the young midfielder is ready for a call-up to the England national team.
"I think from what he’s shown since getting into the Arsenal first team, Myles deserves to be called into the England team. At the highest level, he’s proven he can handle those demands, he’s shown he’s more than capable.
"The level he has played at for Arsenal, he’s definitely ready for it and I also think that he could provide an interesting solution to what has been a problem for England over the last year.
"Age is never a barrier in football - if you’re good enough, you’re old enough to play," Bacary Sagna has shared.
