Barcelona strike Inaki Pena contract extension off the table – reports

Barely two months ago, Barcelona were considering extending Inaki Pena's contract.
Fast-forward to mid-February, all talks of extending the goalkeeper's contract have been struck off the table, according to Mundo Deportivo.
This must be quite shattering for Pena who was the starter after Ter Stegen suffered his knee injury last September.
Pena has since been disposed from being the first-choice goalie by Polish veteran Wojciech Szczęsny.
With Pena's contract set to expire in 2026 and Ter Stegen set to recover it looks like the Spanish goalie's time at Barca is done.
