Barcelona's sporting director Deco has reaffirmed the importance of Lamine Yamal for the Catalan project.

"Yamal is a player who has grown up here, just like Gavi and Cubarsi. I can't imagine a better place for them than Barcelona. Lamine is happy here – he has his family, his friends, and he loves the club. It's our responsibility to do everything possible to keep him and secure a solid future for him.
