Farewell or extension? Bayern bosses leave Sane in limbo - reports

Behind the sporting future of Leroy Sane still looms a big question mark. So far, the winger and FC Bayern have not managed to agree on an extension for his contract, which expires this summer. According to recent reports, the Munich club's officials are not currently in discussions with Sane.
Information from Sport BILD indicates that the Bayern bosses have sent no signal to the German international regarding any plans to extend his contract, meaning that as it stands, Sane and FC Bayern are expected to part ways next summer.
The 29-year-old could therefore leave Munich on a free transfer – a significant loss for the German record champions, who acquired Sane's services for around €50 million in the summer of 2020.
