Granit Xhaka: ‘We need a perfect day to beat Bayern’

Granit Xhaka believes Bayer Leverkusen are ready for their crucial clash with Bayern Munich, a game that could define the Bundesliga title race.
"We know our position and are looking forward to the game. All of Germany is excited. We need to do our job and see what happens after 90 minutes.
"Last year, our strength was not focusing too much on the table. We take it game by game and will see where we stand after 34 matches.
"We never play for a draw. Our mentality is to win every game, including against Bayern. We've built this mindset through strong performances.
"It's always special against Bayern. They know our strengths, but at home, we've made it tough for anyone. We need a perfect day, but I believe we can win," said the Swiss midfielder.
