'I would be very excited': Barca outcast Ferran Jutgla dreams of facing Barcelona in Champions League
In 2022, Barcelona decided they didn't really need Ferran Jutgla and sold him to Club Brugge for €5m.
Jutgla has been developing ever since and on Wednesday he scored a cracking goal to help Brugge beat Atalanta 2-1 in the Champions League playoffs.
After the game, Jutgla faced questions about his former club; he responded that he would love to play against them.
"I would be very excited [to play against Barca," Jutgla said.
"I would live the moment with a lot of passion. It is a pity that we could not face each other in the group stage, but hopefully, one day we can play in Montjuïc or in the Camp Nou or against Barça," Jutgla adds.
Jutgla was however full of praise for Hansi Flick's team calling them the Champions League's title contenders.
"Barcelona play very well. If they continue at this level I think they are candidates to win everything this season," Jutgla said
"They are doing super good and must maintain this consistency until the last months," the striker adds.
