According to The Athletic, Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap is one of the players Man United are considering as a potential solution to their attacking problems.
United will be looking for a new striker in the summer. However, more expensive options such as Viktor Gyokeres might turn out to be unattainable.
As a result, the focus shifts to someone like Delap who came through the Man City academy.
The 22-year-old is well-known to people at Man United, especially technical director Jason Wilcox who worked for years with the Man City youth teams.
City retain a £40m buyback option on their former player, while Chelsea are also interested.
