According to transfer specialist website Transfermarkt, his market value has risen from €500,000 to €28 million since he left Valdebebas. Sources consulted by Relevo claim that, in the event of a transfer, a fee of €35 million would not be unexpected. Not surprisingly, at his age he is already the leader of Lazio's defence. This season, he has featured in 27 matches across all competitions.
