Ronaldo believes Brazil should build its game around Neymar and Vinicius: 'We have two magnificent players'

Former Brazil forward Ronaldo thinks that Neymar and Vinicius Junior should have more freedom in the national team to maximize their effectiveness.

"Neymar is the backbone of the team. Vinicius is also a key player. We have two magnificent footballers. We must build around them and find a way for the team to play in their favor," Ronaldo stated.

Speaking about Neymar, he highlighted that the player's brilliance masks structural issues within the national team and Brazilian football as a whole.

"Neymar inspires young players. On the pitch, he shows personality, takes risks, tries new things, isn’t afraid of tough play, and scores goals. I hope he returns in top form because if he is at his best, the national team will also find the right path," added the two-time World Cup winner.

Regarding Vinicius, Ronaldo praised his performances at Real Madrid, calling them "incredible," but acknowledged that he struggles to replicate the same level for Brazil. According to Ronaldo, this discrepancy is largely due to head coach Dorival Junior, who must "find the best system and players to support them."
