Manchester City have received a significant injury boost ahead of their crucial Champions League playoff against Real Madrid, with Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish traveling to Spain and likely to feature in Wednesday's match.

Haaland had given City a scare when he came off with a knee issue during the 4-0 win over Newcastle at the weekend, sparking speculation over his availability for the trip to the Bernabeu.

However, City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that both Haaland and Grealish, who was also a doubt, have made the trip to Spain and are expected to be available for selection.

Guardiola said, "Yes, they traveled. We will see tomorrow, but it's good news they are here, obviously." The City boss also expressed his hopes that Grealish, who has struggled with consistency due to injury, can now play a key role in the remaining months of the season.

City trail 3-2 on aggregate after last week's first leg, but Haaland's presence could prove crucial in their bid to overturn the deficit.

The Norwegian striker scored his first-ever goals against Real Madrid in the first leg, and City will be relying on him to deliver again at the Bernabeu.
