Pascal Gross: 'Borussia Dortmund must approach second leg against Sporting CP like a 0-0 game'
18 February, 20:23
Borussia Dortmund midfielder Pascal Gross has discussed the upcoming Champions League First Round second leg against Sporting CP, with the German club leading 3-0 after the first match.
“We must not make easy mistakes and concede goals because of them. At the other end, we have to score goals; they give us a good feeling and breed confidence. That’s what we saw in Lisbon. That way, you can grow into a game, which is important in our situation.
“Our Bundesliga season has been very disappointing so far, but we’re doing well in the Champions League. The second leg is very important for us, a big game, but we should approach it like a normal home game, as if it’s 0-0,” said the German midfielder.
