Chelsea have already fully equipped their midfield for the 2025-26 season after the signing of Dario Essugo from Sporting.
According to The Athletic, Andrey Santos will also be part of the first-team squad at Stamford Bridge next term.
The Brazilian who has enjoyed a stellar loan campaign at Strasbourg will compete against Romeo Lavia.
Essugo, meanwhile, will be providing much-needed cover for Moises Caicedo as a No.6.
Chelsea have already decided that Mathis Amougou will replace Santos at Strasbourg next season.
Enzo Fernandez was not mentioned in the report, but as one of the team leaders you would imagine he'll have a role to play.
Where all this leaves Lesley Ugochukwu is unclear. The French midfielder has turned his season around at Southampton, but there may just be no place for him at Chelsea.
