Max Eberl hints at Leroy Sane’s future: 'he doesn’t need to advertise'
15 March, 19:51
Leroy Sane is among the Bayern Munich players tipped as transfer candidates. His contract is expiring, and Bayern have long been frustrated with his performances.
Against Union Berlin, Sane scored a goal that caught sporting director Max Eberl’s eye: "He doesn’t need to advertise. We know what Leroy can do. Three players’ contracts are up - we’ll hold calm talks," Eberl said.
Leroy Sane himself offered no fresh insight on his future, sticking to prior statements: "I’ve already shared my view. We’ll see how it goes. Max has said it all.
"I don’t overthink it. I aim to help the team, deliver my performance - that’s key. I’m the first to be unhappy when I’m off form," Sane said.
