Niko Kovac: 'It’s unbelievable. I can’t explain it either'
15 March, 20:45
Borussia Dortmund suffered yet another loss, this time 0:2 away to RB Leipzig on Bundesliga matchday 26.
Niko Kovac, who arrived in winter to salvage Borussia Dortmund, has lost 4 of his 6 Bundesliga matches as their coach. Post-match, he said: "It’s unbelievable. I can’t explain it either.
"The ball just wouldn’t go in today. Fact is, we didn’t score and left as unlucky losers. We need to net at least three or four," Kovac believes.
Self-critical and disappointed, he added: "This is a catastrophe. It’s not the standard I set for myself."
