Chelsea sustained the 1-0 loss to Arsenal in their Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday (16 March, 2025).
The Blues went down because of a Mikel Merino goal in the first half and were too lackluster in the attacking front.
This loss means that Chelsea have failed to capitalize on Man City's recent loss and remain with 49 points from 29 Premier League games in fourth position.
Newcastle United could leap over the Blues in the top-4 if they're able to win their game in hand.
Chelsea have now failed to defeat Arsenal in their last seven Premier League games, with this being their fourth straight loss in as many recent visits to the Emirates Stadium.
