Pedulla on Motta at Juve: 'My feeling is players aren’t following him anymore'
Alfredo Pedulla, speaking on his YouTube channel, has addressed Juventus’ current crisis:
"Now they’ll kick off another managerial casting, but some of the names floating around are pie in the sky - they’ve thrown out 4-5-6 options. Thiago Motta’s taken responsibility, but I’d issue a statement - saying you’ll restore balance isn’t enough; he’s the main one accountable.
"My feeling is the players aren’t following him anymore - something’s broken, and no player’s stepping up. Yesterday, there was no fire; the attitude was missing. Subconsciously, the players have checked out - they were flat before and they’ve stayed flat.
"For the last 5 years, Juventus haven’t been in the Scudetto race. I’d have pulled the plug on Koopmeiners and Nico Gonzalez ages ago - they’re performing worse and should be dropped. I’d ask Locatelli if he really feels like a captain," Alfredo Pedulla said.
