TEAMTalk reports that Liverpool are ready to sell Diogo Jota this summer, with Wolves interested in bringing the Portuguese forward back to Molineux. Jota, who joined Liverpool in 2020 for over £45m, has contributed 64 goals and 22 assists in 174 appearances.

However, concerns over his fitness and big-game performances have led to speculation about his future at Anfield. Liverpool are asking for £55m (€65.4m) for the 28-year-old, who has two years left on his contract.

Wolves, having avoided relegation, are keen to strengthen their attack and are evaluating ways to bring Jota back. With super-agent Jorge Mendes involved, the deal seems possible, as Mendes has strong ties with Wolves and facilitated Jota's initial move to the club. Jota, seeking more playing time, is open to returning as their number one striker.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are looking to bolster their attack, possibly bringing in Julian Alvarez or Alexander Isak, while also addressing uncertainties around Darwin Nunez and Mo Salah’s future. Jamie Carragher has suggested Liverpool need two new attackers to rejuvenate their forward line.
