Liverpool and AC Milan reportedly hoping Raul Asencio rejects Real Madrid contract extension
Real Madrid are working hard to seal the contract extension of centre-back Raul Asencio, as his current deal expires in 2026.
As per El Chiringuito’s Edu Aguirre, PSG are not the only club credited to have an interest in the Spanish centre-back.
Liverpool and AC Milan are both admirers of Asencio, being hopeful that he will not sign a new contract with the club.
They are hoping that the defender rejects any extension offers from the club, bolstering their chances of signing him as a free agent in the 2026 summer window.
However, Asencio has already been reported to be close to agreeing a new contract that will reflect his role as a senior player at Real Madrid.
The 22-year-old defender has made 30 appearances for Los Blancos in his breakout season, also making two assists.
