'We have a lot of possibilities': Fermin Lopez plays down Champions League favourites tag for Barcelona
When asked if Barcelona are the firm favourites to win the UEFA Champions League title this season, Fermin Lopez stated: “I don’t see myself as a favourite or anything like that.
"We know we have a lot of possibilities because we can see the team we have, how we play and what we transmit. We can win any title
“We are a very young group, many of us know each other from the youth academy and that is then reflected on the field.
“It just so happens that with the situation of the club and everything, they have given us young players the opportunity and it’s a dream for all of us. It is no coincidence that we are so high in all competitions.”
Fermin has been a special weapon for Hansi Flick this season, excelling in the attacking midfield role. He has five goals and five assists in 29 appearances this season and might play a key role in Barca’s push for a European Treble.
