'I didn't bring people together': Mbappe admits past mistakes – says he 'doesn't care' about reception in Paris

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has opened up on the criticism he has received in France over the past year.
He was asked what kind of reception he expects from the fans at Stade de France, to which he replied: "I don't care."
"I didn't play well against Italy and my [pre-match] news conference didn't please people, because as captain I didn't bring people together," Mbappé added.
"I accept that, but now the most important thing is to move forward and not to repeat the same mistakes.
"I am feeling good, I feel happy to play football," Mbappé added. "I am happy to be here to help the [France] team."
