Liverpool's hopes of signing Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez have been dealt a blow as the Cherries slap a £50m price tag on the Hungarian international.

According to sources, Liverpool are unwilling to pay such a hefty fee, especially with the uncertainty surrounding the future of some of their key stars.

Kerkez has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield, but reports suggesting that a deal is at an advanced stage are unfounded.

In fact, Liverpool are not the only club interested in Kerkez, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Manchester City also monitoring his situation.

The 24-year-old has established himself as one of the best left-backs in the Premier League, and his performances have inevitably driven up his price tag.

Bournemouth had valued him at £40m last summer, but his brilliant displays this season have added £10m to his price tag.

Kerkez's representatives have denied reports that he is set to hold a meeting with his entourage to discuss his future during the international break.

Instead, the Hungarian is focused on helping his country remain in the A division of the Nations League and win their playoff fixtures against Turkey.

For now, Kerkez is relaxed about his future and has not made a decision on his next move.

He is fully focused on continuing his brilliant season at Bournemouth and helping the Cherries qualify for a European spot in the Premier League. Any decision on his future will be made in the summer.
