Osimhen not a priority for Chelsea - Reports
Chelsea are not prioritising a move for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, despite his impressive goal-scoring record.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Osimhen's wage demands of £250,000 per week have made him less of a priority for the Blues.
Instead, Chelsea are considering alternative strikers, including Sporting Lisbon's Victor Gyokeres, who has re-emerged as a target for the club.
Liam Delap and Sesko are also high on Chelsea's list, while Alexander Isak could become an option if he becomes available.
Osimhen, 26, has been in impressive form, scoring 31 goals in all competitions in the 2022-23 season and following that up with 17 goals last season.
He has also bagged 26 goals on loan at Galatasaray this campaign.
With a £63m release clause in his contract, Osimhen is likely to be in high demand this summer.
However, Chelsea's hesitation over his wage demands has opened the door for other clubs to make a move for the Nigerian striker.
