Cristiano Ronaldo had a pretty dismal outing in Portugal's 2-0 loss to Denmark in the first leg of the UEFA Nations League quarterfinal.

Despite that, the Al-Nassr forward's appearance helped him set a special record for his national team.

Ronaldo has now become the first player to have played for 22 consecutive years for the Portuguese national team.

He has made 218 appearances for Portugal, scoring 135 goals and providing 46 assists.
