Karl-Heinz Rummenigge: 'We'll need to have two great days'
22 March, 21:15
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Bayern Munich's executive chairman, has shared his thoughts ahead of the club's upcoming Champions League quarter-final clash with Inter Milan, stressing the difficulty of the challenge.
"It's going to be two tough games. Both teams are at a high level. Inter didn't reach a Champions League final a couple of years ago by chance. We'll have to have two great days, here in Munich and in Milan,
"in order to reach the semifinal. Nobody needs to think we're favourites, we're not. Inter have a great defense and have Lautaro and Thuram upfront – but our style is a bit more dominant. We need to get a good result in the first leg in Munich."
