Arne Slot is on track to become just the fifth manager in Premier League history to win the title in their debut season, as the Dutchman pushes for glory in his first campaign.
Slot is attempting to replicate the success of previous managers who achieved this rare feat, including Antonio Conte in 2016-17, Manuel Pellegrini in 2013-14, Carlo Ancelotti in 2009-10, and Jose Mourinho in 2004-05.
In fact, Slot’s impressive start to life in the Premier League has seen him accumulate more points after 29 games than any debutant manager, with only Mourinho boasting a higher tally at this stage.
Liverpool, currently sitting first in the EPL with 70 points from 29 matches, and Arsenal are behind in second place, with 58 points from 29 matches. With just 9 games remaining until the end of the season.
