According to Portuguese media outlet Correio da Manha, Arsenal have settled on Sporting forward Viktor Gyokeres as their preferred option as a new No.9.
The Gunners are preparing a 'decisive raid' for the Swedish striker who would reportedly be allowed to leave for a €75m fee.
Arsenal have already requested a formal meeting with Hasan Cetinkaya, Gyokeres' agent who is claimed to also be Mikel Arteta's friend.
Arsenal will not be alone in the race for the forward who has 40 goals and 10 assists this season.
