Chelsea are not planning to sign a new goalkeeper in the upcoming summer transfer window, according to BBC reporter Nizaar Kinsella.
Instead, the Blues are set to continue working with their current goalkeeping options, selecting two from Robert Sanchez, Filip Jorgensen, and Djordje Petrovic to remain in the squad.
Additionally, Chelsea’s latest acquisition, highly-rated goalkeeper Mike Penders, will join from Genk for £18 million. However, it’s expected that Penders will be sent out on loan to gain valuable experience before making a more permanent move into the first-team picture.
