Julian Nagelsmann: 'Italy will definitely not give up without a fight'
Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann has shared his expectations for the return leg of the Nations League quarterfinal against Italy, which will take place on March 23.
"We need to make some tactical adjustments, but we are not going to change too much. One or two changes in the starting lineup are likely. Burkhardt is sick and therefore cannot train today, so we are not sure if he will be ready for tomorrow. The final decision on the lineup will be made after training.
"Italy will definitely not give up without a fight. We need to approach the game as if the score is still 0-0. In our opinion, the game starts with a 0-0 score, and we want to win the return leg. I expect Italy to play almost the same way, so the game should be similar to the one in Milan," said Nagelsmann.
