'Look me in the eyes': Ronaldo aggressively confronts journalist during press conference
Portuguese national team striker Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted strongly to media questions before the match against Denmark in the Nations League.
"It seems to me that there is a lot of negativity surrounding the national team. I watched some press conferences over the last few days – I didn't like what I saw, and I don't like it," Ronaldo said.
"Honestly, some of the questions you asked were just disrespectful. If you want answers from me, look me in the eyes when you ask. There's no point in asking me something and then looking at your computer. You'll have time for that later. If needed, I'll repeat this ten times," Ronaldo told the journalists, according to Talksport.
Ronaldo's reaction was sparked by a question about whether the team has enough desire to win and play attractive football, and whether the striker could handle playing all 90 minutes of the match. The journalists had also been critical of the team and coach Martinez overall.
