Tuchel urges Bellingham to be more disciplined: 'He needs to stop doing everything at once'
Jude Bellingham has been a key player for both Real Madrid and England this season. But Thomas Tuchel says the midfielder still needs more discipline to make a bigger impact.
Bellingham, 21, has scored 11 goals for Real Madrid so far. He has also played 41 times for England, scoring six goals. He was involved again in England’s recent 2-0 win over Albania, where he assisted Myles Lewis-Skelly’s opener.
Tuchel praised his quality but added a clear message. “Jude is brilliant, no doubt. But he needs to stop doing everything at once,” he said. “Sometimes he wants to defend, attack, press, and cover all at the same time. It’s too much.”
“He has the ability to control the rhythm,” Tuchel continued. “If he picks the right moments, he’ll be even better. He’s still learning, and we’re helping him with that.”
