Vinicius trains separately ahead of Argentina clash -reports
Vinicius did not take part in Brazil's ball training on Saturday. The Real Madrid forward trained alone while his teammates worked on passing drills and tactical moves.
During the 15 minutes open to the press, Vinicius stayed away from the group and jogged around the pitch. He did not wear football boots and used tennis shoes instead. A staff member from the technical team followed him closely.
The player, named the best footballer in the world by FIFA last year, was seen doing only light exercises. He did not join any of the drills and was not involved in any ball work.
Coach Dorival Junior did not explain why Vinicius was left out of full training. Brazil have two more sessions planned before they face Argentina in Tuesday’s World Cup qualifier.
