Hansi Flick singles out Eric Garcia and Ferran Torres for praise after Atleti win
Hansi Flick was impressed with his players for their performance against Atletico Madrid.
However, the coach singled out two players for special praise for their masterclass.
"Eric García received an offer from another club, but I told him I needed him to play in another position, 100%," Hansi Flick said.
"You can clearly see that he has progressed. He is a great player, person and a professional. He is the kind of player I want in my team."
Flick also had kind words for Ferran Torres.
"Ferran performed well in other Copa del Rey games, and deserved to get another few minutes today. It’s possible we’ll see another striker on Saturday," Flick said.
Ferran has 16 goals and 7 assists for Barca this season. The Spaniard has scored 5 goals in his last 4 games.
