Aston Villa slammed after 13-year-old fan kicked out of stands for celebrating PSG goal

Aston Villa has come under fire after a 13-year-old fan was removed from the stands during the Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain.

The young fan, Mael, and his family were celebrating PSG's opening goal when they were reported to stewards and eventually kicked out of the stadium.

The family had purchased tickets in the home section due to the difficulty of securing seats in the away end, and they were enjoying the match despite supporting the visiting team.

However, after celebrating PSG's goal, they were targeted by a fellow spectator who reported them to security.

Aymeric Le Meignen, a friend of Mael's father, described the incident, saying, "Nine security guards came to tell us that it was forbidden for French people to sit with English people."

The situation escalated, with the young fan in tears as security escorted the family out of the stadium.

The incident has sparked outrage, with many criticizing Aston Villa for their handling of the situation.

Despite the controversy, PSG went on to secure a semi-final tie against Arsenal, winning the tie 4-2 on aggregate.
